Preparation is key! John Wooden felt foundational preparation was so critical to his basketball team’s success that the first lesson he taught his players was how to properly put on socks and tie their shoes to avoid blisters and injuries. Sounds ridiculous, but success in found in the fundamentals. Games are won, and lost, due to preparation, or lack thereof.
When you are prepared (being prepared):
*you have a competitive advantage
The art of preparation allows you to enjoy whatever it is that you are preparing for even more because you have laid the groundwork for success. Becoming the best is hard but how do you truly get better? By preparing to pursue your true God-given potential.
Commitment without planning is wishful thinking. You can change your life by taking responsibility for your actions. Remember, you only have one...SO ROCK THIS LIFE NOW!!
